Types of Implants
Decades of accumulated experience allow us to confidently state that titanium has excellent biocompatibility, and an implant made of it, once placed in the bone, does not undergo corrosion.
The implant is identical in shape to a tooth root. After osseointegration, an abutment is placed on the implant, a base similar to the stump of a prepared tooth, on which an artificial dental crown or another orthopedic structure is fixed.
Dental crowns can be made of alloys, metal-ceramics, as well as ceramics based on zirconium or aluminum oxides.

Today, more than 2000 dental implant systems are used in the market. Only a few of them are widely applied worldwide, primarily due to their predictable treatment results rather than their price or local market conditions. As in any market, there are leaders, companies that are global sales frontrunners.
The innovative component in these developments is enormous. The reliability and predictability of treatment outcomes achieved with implants produced by these companies are clear and well-known worldwide. Each of these companies closely monitors product quality and offers the latest solutions that make it possible to maximize both the use of prostheses supported by implants and the speed of prosthetics after implantation.
Today, as many years ago, there are only four industry leaders. Dentists choose these companies not because they are inexpensive, but because the results are predictable and reliable. The leading company among them is Nobel Biocare, with which we have been officially cooperating since 2004.
The demand for implantology services is steadily growing. The reason is very simple: each of us has at least one extracted tooth. The absence of discomfort or pain is a common reason to seek the help of a dentist. An unnoticed problem in time can lead to more complications in the future. The standard for quality treatment of such issues is almost always implantation.
During the initial consultation, the patient’s overall health condition and the state of the oral cavity are thoroughly discussed. Based on the obtained information, the patient is presented with the possible treatment options.
