Treatment of pulpits of primary teeth in children

Pulpitis is an inflammatory process in the vascular and nerve tissues of a tooth.

Causes of pulpitis:

- Advanced stage of caries
- Poor-quality filling (if carious tissue is not completely removed, continued decay can lead to pulpitis)
- Acute infectious diseases
-The main cause of pulpitis development is the effect of caries. Due to the low sensitivity of nerve connections in baby teeth, the destructive process of caries often occurs without any noticeable symptoms.

Most commonly used methods for treating pulpitis in pediatric dentistry:

- Vital amputation
After anesthesia, the dentist opens the carious cavity, removes decayed tissue, performs crown pulp removal, applies several layers of a specially prepared therapeutic material, and then fills the tooth.

- Vital extirpation (complete removal of the pulp)
- Anesthesia and devitalization
- Opening of the carious cavity
- Removal of the pulp
- Treatment with therapeutic materials
- Root canal filling
- Tooth filling
