Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin disease expressed by skin redness, ulcers and pimples and is also known as ‘pink acne’.

Rosacea usually appears after the age of 30 and is more common among women, but exacerbation only occurs among men.

Scientists still have not stated the specific causes of rosacea. Currently, the following are considered the main causes:

  • genetic predisposition
  • heredity
  • intestinal inflammation
  • endocrinal diseases
  • lack of vitamins
  • microcirculatory disorder
  • psychological factors
  • physical causes (influence of the sun, heat or cold)

Treatment
