Moles

Removal of moles and other neoplasms via radiofrequency waves is considered one of the most effective methods of removal.

Essence of the intervention

At our clinic, removal via a radiofrequency current is performed through the special ELLMAN device and the use of high frequency radio waves (3.8-4.0 MHz).

The electrode hardly touches the skin. The tissues are destroyed at the level of cells. The wave contributes to evaporation of the intracellular fluid towards which the electrode is geared. The surrounding cells do not react to that and are not damaged.

The current burns the neoplasm and removes its hotbed, and high efficiency is ensured at the expense of the ‘closure of blood vessels.

This helps solve two problems:

  • no bleeding
  • no spread of neoplasms in cells through blood

Advantages

  • fast
  • effective
  • safe, surrounding tissues are not damaged
  • no recovery stage

Indications

  • increase in the sizes of neoplasms
  • occurrence of itching
  • uneven edges
  • change of color
  • inflammatory processes

Contraindications

  • presence of a cardiac pacemaker
  • fever
  • acute phase of herpes

During their consultations, Avanta’s dermatologists apply diagnostic and SYMSIS Siascopy in case of need, and the decision on removal is made based on the results.

At our clinic, removal of neoplasms is accompanied by a histological study of the biomaterial, according to necessity, and this contributes to early detection of a malignant tumor.

At Avanta, dermatology consulting is free-of-charge.
