Labioplasty

Labioplasty is plastic surgery of the vagina and is for the modification of labia minora (folds of skin on the inside that lead to the vagina) and labia majora (lips on the outside of the vagina) and skin folds around the vulva.

Labioplasty is performed when the visitor feels physical or psychological inconvenience. It is especially performed when the woman feels that her labia (vaginal lips) don’t look normal.

  • change of shape and size of labia
  • weakening and lowering of intimate area
  • elongation or asymmetry of labia minora

Causes

  • difficult childbirth
  • heredity
  • age-related changes
  • traumas

Contraindications

  • infectious diseases
  • oncological diseases

Labioplasty may include clitoral discharge, if the thickness of the clitoris doesn’t allow for sexual arousal or the appearance is unsatisfactory.
