Crowns

Crowns

Dental crowns are prosthetic constructions used to restore individual teeth or the entire dental arch. They provide both aesthetic and functional benefits, helping to recreate the natural look and strength of teeth.

To achieve the most natural and lasting result, modern dentistry offers several types of dental crowns:

- Metal-ceramic
- All-ceramic
- Zirconia

Crowns can be placed both on prepared-polished teeth and on implants.

Modern technologies make it possible to accelerate the process of tooth restoration and choose the most suitable methods even for the most demanding patients.

The orthopedic dentists of the Avanta Center choose the safest methods of tooth preparation for crowns.

Indications for crown placement:

- Significant tooth wear
- Change in enamel color that cannot be corrected by whitening
- Serious damage caused by caries
- Mechanical damage (when filling cannot solve the problem)
- Prepared abutment tooth for a bridge prosthesis

Contraindications for crown placement:

- Weak tooth root
- Inflammatory processes in periapical tissues

Process of dental crown placement:

- Consultation and treatment planning
- Preparation for prosthetics
- Crown fabrication in a dental laboratory
- Fitting of the crown in the oral cavity
- Fixation of the crown

Already at the initial stage, specialists can show the final result through computer modeling. It is a complete image that provides visualization of the expected result directly in the patient’s oral cavity.

Thanks to the latest technologies, we offer the possibility of crown placement on the same day. Our center is equipped with a CEREC device, which allows the creation of veneers or crowns with high precision within minutes.
